It’s Monday! Time for some motivation.
I wanted to share with you my go to breakfast today. I made this smoothie on the first day back to school from Winter Break and was amazed that I wasn’t hungry until lunch. So, I made it the next morning, and the next morning, and I think you get the point. I have had it every single morning before school for the last 2 weeks.
I meant to take a picture of the smoothie, but forgot.
Here is what I put into my smoothie each morning.
Green Almond Butter Smoothie
-1 cup spinach (Sometimes I throw in a little bit of kale too.)
-1 tablespoon of almond butter
-1 tablespoon ground flax meal
-1 tablespoon Chia seeds
-3/4 cup Almond Milk
-1/2 cup frozen berries (I use a combo of blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries.)
-About 5 ice cubes
I ran out of bananas on Friday, so I substituted some canned pineapple and that was pretty good as well.
